My journey in the field of Environmental Engineering began as a combination of personal interest and a deep concern for the well-being of our planet. Growing up, I witnessed the impact of environmental issues on communities and ecosystems. This ignited my curiosity and motivated me to pursue a career where I could contribute to finding sustainable solutions. I was particularly fascinated by the intersection of engineering and environmental science, which led me to study and specialise in Environmental Engineering.

Environmental Engineering offers a range of tools and techniques to address the challenges confronting our planet such as pollution control, waste management, water treatment, and renewable energy systems. However, I believe that the best method for rebuilding the environment depends on the specific context and the nature of the environmental issues being addressed. It often requires a multidisciplinary approach integrating engineering solutions, policy changes, public engagement, and long-term sustainability planning.

I have a strong desire to contribute to the environmental landscape in my home country of Indonesia.I believe that by applying the knowledge and skills I have gained through my studies and experiences, I can make a meaningful difference in addressing the specific environmental challenges faced by my community and country. With what I have learnt through my studies I will be able to collaborate closely with local stakeholders, understand the context better, and contribute to sustainable development. By leveraging my education and experiences, I aim to actively participate in shaping environmental policies, implementing sustainable practices, and fostering environmental awareness among the people of my home country. Through this, I hope to create a positive and lasting impact on the environment and contribute to the well-being of my community.

To me just looking at the condition of the environment translates to a call to action, a rallying cry for all of us to come together and forge a sustainable future. As a member of Gen Z, I believe that our actions and choices have the power to inspire others. I have realised that leading by example and demonstrating the positive impact that individuals can make, we can motivate others to take similar actions and contribute to a sustainable future.
